Theses and dissertations form the major part of academic research. Likewise, a major part of the scholarly articles is the output of research carried out by researchers in academia. To produce original research, it is essential that students and researchers have easy access to the research literature to prevent replication and to contribute to the existing body of knowledge. IranDoc as the national registry for academic research is responsible for registration, organization and dissemination of scientific and technological information produced by Iranians in Iran and abroad. As a result, since its establishment in 1976, IranDoc has been able to collect full text copy of Iranians' dissertations and theses. Using this collection, the IranDoc literature review system is designed to serve students and researchers with research literature on their topic. By using this service, users are informed about relevant and related research in the area of their interest, hence they will not fall into trap of replicated works. To use the research literature system, users need to register here. Once receiving confirmation, they are able to login, submit their request and may a predefined payment to get this service. The literature search is conducted by IranDoc’s trained information specialists and the search result is sent to the user or anyone suggested by the user.
